Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Supervision platform (acting as a "General Contractor in the Cloud", delivering managed home repairs, dispatching vetted professionals, and providing related mobile applications and websites, collectively the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, homeowners, property managers, trade professionals ("Pros"), and others who access or use the Service.
2. Our Service Description
Supervision Inc. acts as a digital General Contractor. We provide a platform that utilizes visual AI to triage home repair needs from user-submitted videos, determine pricing, and dispatch vetted, independent Trade Pros to execute the repair. We guarantee the work completed through our platform. We are not a traditional directory or lead generation service.
3. Eligibility and Account Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. When creating an account, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
4. Billing, Pricing, and Payments
For Homeowners and Property Managers: We use Visual AI to provide a fixed upfront price or hourly cap for the diagnosed issue. By accepting a quote in the app, you authorize Supervision to charge your provided payment method. You will be billed once the repair is completed. If a repair uncovers additional issues ("scope creep"), a Change Order will be generated for your explicit approval before the additional work begins.
For Trade Pros: Supervision does not charge you lead fees. You are paid an agreed-upon amount within the platform after successfully marking a job as complete by uploading verified "After" photos. Payouts are subjected to direct deposit transfer times. The relationship between Supervision and Trade Pros is formalized in an independent contractor agreement distinct from these generic platform Terms.
5. The Supervision Guarantee and Liability
Supervision guarantees the quality of repairs booked and paid for through the platform. If a repair fails due to workmanship within our guarantee period, we will dispatch a Pro to fix it at no additional cost to you ("Happiness Guarantee"). All jobs are covered under our commercial liability insurance policies.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED, SUPERVISION INC. MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Submitting false, inaccurate, or deceptive videos, photos, or descriptions of repair needs.
- Using the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
- Harassing, abusing, or harming another person, including our Trade Pros.
- Attempting to bypass our platform to hire dispatched Trade Pros directly to avoid platform fees.
- Scraping, framing, or using automated systems to access the platform.
7. User Content and Intellectual Property
By uploading videos, photos, reviews, or other content ("User Content"), you grant Supervision Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, and display the content in connection with providing and improving the Service (including training our Visual AI models). You retain ownership of your User Content. Supervision retains all rights, titles, and interests in the platform, its AI models, code, branding, and aggregated "Home Health Record" data.
8. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in San Mateo County, California, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify. YOU AGREE TO WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.
9. General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
